Awesome move by IBM looking for building a ecosystem worldwide for the IBM Watson Platform. This is the right move in the right direction as done by by Apple for iOS or Google for the Android platform.
Just imagine millions of Made with Watson powered applications built globally using various installations of IBM Watson. I guess this is the vision of IBM. There are some people who says “IBM has missed the bus - see article below”, but to me everything has its particular sweet time and I believe this is the absolute correct timing to grow Watson.
“We will be announcing some of the investments in Asia-Pacific around two centres of excellence in the region in a couple of weeks,” Michelle Unger, vice-president of worldwide sales at IBM Watson, said in an interview on Monday.
I wonder whats the next move for big shots like Google in this direction.
