What would be the best possible scenario of Internet of Things in our daily lives?

Common Man:

1. Stock of toilet paper

2. Stock of Diapers. 

3. stock of wine/alcohol.. 

Small and Medium Business:

1. Paper running out of a Printer

2. Running out of coffee

…. and the list continues.. maybe we can add a rfid to all the things and have a single sensor at home to do the reset of the jobs. It seems like kind of location tracking to me.

Nothing else comes to my mind right now.
